Hartford Delivery Man Saved Family After Crash: Report

A delivery man is being credited for helping to rescue a family after their car flipped over.

HARTFORD, CT — A delivery man is being credited for saving a a family last week in Hartford's West End, according to WTNH News-8. Nihad Ibrahimovic was on his daily shift as a meal delivery driver for Juniper Homecare in West Hartford when a car in front of him flipped over on the ice and began to smoke.

Ibrahimovic called 911 and ran to the car to find a woman and two children tripped inside. He then got a hammer from someone nearby and struck the window to get the people trapped inside out.

The occupants inside appeared uninjured, though Ibrahimovic called the experience a bit scary.
