Hartford DUI Checkpoint: When And Where
Police will conduct a DUI checkpoint in the coming days.
HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police will conduct a DUI checkpoint Thursday, Aug. 8 from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. at 217 Wethersfield Ave.
The checkpoint is part of the department's ongoing expanded DUI enforcement program supervised by the Traffic Division and funded via a grant from the state's Department of Transportation DUI Enforcement Program.
"We value lives and the safety of our roads," police said in a statement. "Because we value our community we will be doing a DUI Checkpoint...Help us in our mission to reduce our fatal accidents to zero."
