Hartford Firefighter's Life Saved After Being Stabbed: PD
The man was stabbed by his brother, according to police.
HARTFORD, CT — Officers helped save a Hartford firefighter's life after he was stabbed by his brother Sunday, according to police.
Fire Lt. Roman Carter, 30, was allegedly stabbed by his brother Joshua Carter, 27, after an argument over their mother's vehicle, according to the Hartford Courant.
Carter's mother started to drive him toward the hospital, but she stopped when she saw police near a parade. Officers provided life-saving care until he was transported to the hospital.
