Hartford A Good Place To Play Lotto This Week

HARTFORD, CT — It's been a good week to play lottery games in Hartford this week, with three local residents winning substantial prizes playing games purchased in the capital city.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.:

• On Monday, Oct. 21, a resident won $10,000 playing the $100,000 Ca$hword scratch-off game, which was purchased at the Green Apple store, 264 Farmington Ave., Hartford.

Then, a day later, another resident hit a nice payout.

• On Tuesday, Oct. 22, a resident won $25,000 in the Play 4 drawing game with a ticket purchased at the Congressman Package Store, located at 1988 Main St., Hartford.

• On Wednesday, Oct. 23, a Hartford resident won $30,000 in the $30,000 Ca$hword scratch-off game with a ticket purchased at the Melo Mini Market, 880 Park St., Hartford.
