HARTFORD, CT — Hartford Habitat will hold a dedication ceremony on December 7th for their most recent rehab project on Beach Road in Bloomfield. The property had been left abandoned for many years and had become an eyesore in a lovely neighborhood.

Maribel Diaz and her son Austin will move in to the house in time for the holidays. She says, “Today we feel blessed. God knows exactly what you need and when you need it. Thanks to Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity I will soon be a homeowner. We are beyond excited and so grateful to be a part of such an amazing organization that helps families achieve the goal of owning an affordable home.”
