Hartford Intends To Expand High-Speed Internet
The city says it is seeking a utilities partner in a project to bring high-speed internet to the Northeast neighborhood.

HARTFORD, CT — City officials are seeking to bring high-speed fiber internet lines to businesses on North Main and Windsor Streets, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The move is intended to boost competitiveness and stimulate growth in the Northeast neighborhood.
The city is requesting proposals from utility providers to find a partner in the project. The city has offered to put up 50 percent of the funding.
