Hartford Lifts Indoor Mask Mandate

The mask mandate had been reinstituted last month.

HARTFORD, CT — The city of Hartford has lifted its indoor mask mandate effective Jan. 31, according to The Hartford Business Journal. Mayor Luke Bronin said the mandate, which was reinstituted at the beginning of the year, was lifted as case numbers have dropped.

Bronin emphasized that businesses still have the right to require patrons wear masks. He also encouraged people to continue wearing masks around strangers, according to The Hartford Business Journal.
