Hartford Man Charged With DUI In 4-Car Wreck
A Hartford man is facing multiple charges in connection with an I-91 crash that injured four.
HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man is being charged with DUI in a four-car accident that left four people injured, according to state police. Tracdin Funnye, 33, of 53 Webster St., Apt C3 in Hartford, was charged with numerous motor vehicle violations, first-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a child, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
His bond was set at $10,000.
An Audi A5 and a Honda Fit were traveling in the right lane of I-91 near Ext 32A in Hartford on Tuesday at 9:22 p.m. A Nissan Altima was driving in the center lane and an Infinity EX35, driven by Funnye, was in the right lane.

Funnye struck the metal beam guardrail in the right shoulder, then spun into the right lane and was rear ended by the Audi, according to state police. The Honda then collided with the Audi, and the Nissan was struck by debris from the accident.
Three of the drivers were injured but refused medical treatment. A passenger in Funnye's car was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
