Hartford Man Dealt Heroin, Fentanyl: Feds

A city man has entered a plea in a drug dealing case.

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man recently pleaded guilty to one count of heroin distribution, according to federal prosecutors. Tylon Caesar, 19, was arrested Jan. 17 and has been detained since Aug. 13.

The charges state that on five occasions in November and December 2018, law enforcement made five controlled purchases of heroin and crack cocaine from Ceasar in the vicinity of his Putnam Street residence. Some of the purchased heroin contained fentanyl.

By pleading guilty, Ceasar also admitted that he sold a firearm to a government witness in January 2019, according to the statement.

Ceasar was arrested on criminal complaint on January 17, 2019. He has been detained since August 13, 2019.

He will be sentenced March 11 and faces a maximum prison term of 20 years.
