Hartford Man Pleads Guilty To Fentanyl, Crack Charges
A Hartford man has pleaded guilty to federal drug distribution charges.
HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man has pleaded guilty to drug charges, according to a statement from federal prosecutors. Christian Patterson, 20, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, fentanyl and cocaine base (“crack”).
His arrest was the result of an investigation into gun violence in north Hartford by the FBI’s Northern Connecticut Violent Crimes Gang Task Force, DEA, Hartford Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.
On Aug. 28, 2019, investigators made a controlled purchase of fentanyl and crack from Patterson, according to the statement.

Patterson was arrested on Sept. 13, 2019 and has been detained since Dec. 11, 2019, when his bond was revoked.
Judge Bolden scheduled sentencing for May 5, 2020, at which time Patterson faces a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years.
