Mega Millions Game Pays Off For Hartford Player

WETHERSFIELD/HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford resident didn't exactly hit the massive prize associated with the Connecticut Lottery Corp. Mega Millions drawing.

But Hartford resident Ana Martinez did come away with a nice payout Monday, winning $10,000 in the drawing, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.

State officials said the winning ticket was purchased at a Wethersfield Citgo station.

Mega Millions, a multi-state game, is a minimum $2 wager, with options for $1 multipliers, that can bring with it a minimum payout of $20 million, with the current jackpot at $277 million.
