Hartford Resident Wins $20K in 'Play 4'

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford resident is nearly $20,000 richer after winning a Connecticut Lottery Corp. drawing game Monday.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Donnell Mathis won $20,000 in the "Play 4" nighttime drawing on Monday, Aug. 22.

Mathis purchased the ticket at Bloom's Discount Liquor in Windsor, according to the lottery corporation.

"Play 4" is a daily drawing done both during the day and evening in which four balls are drawn, along with various player options that can increase the prize.
