Hartford Store Sells Winning Lotto Ticket To Newington Resident

The drawing game was played last week.

HARTFORD/NEWINGTON, CT — A Newington resident has some extra cash this holiday season after a successful stint last week playing a Connecticut Lottery Corp. drawing game.

According to lottery officials, the player won $20,000 with a lottery ticket purchased at a Hartford convenience store last Tuesday, Nov. 28.

The player was playing the Play 4 daily lottery drawing, in which numbers are drawn twice daily.

This winning ticket was purchased at the Friendly Food Mart at 867 Wethersfield Ave. in Hartford.

Play 4 costs a minimum of 50 cents to play, with payouts ranging from $14 to $25,000 depending on the type of game played.
