Hartford Teacher Accused Of Sexual Assault: Report
A teacher has been accused of sexually assaulting a student in Hartford and Bloomfield.
HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford teacher is facing charges that he sexually assault a student in Bloomfield and Hartford, according to media reports. Patrick Dodds, 30, has been arrested for second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Hartford police began an investigation into Dodds' alleged sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student in September, NBC CT reported. The investigation determined that Dodds and the student had sexual relations in Bloomfield and two locations in Hartford.
Bloomfield police then began a parallel investigation after being advised by Hartford police.

Dodds formerly taught at Achievement First Academy in Hartford, WFSB reported. He is being held on $50,000 bond.
