Hartford Teen Leads Police On Multi-Town Chase
An 18-year-old who had been released from juvenile detention one day earlier led police on a chase.
HARTFORD, CT — An 18-year-old who was released from juvenile detention one day earlier led police on a multi-town chase, according to The Journal-Inquirer. Leonard White had served two years for car theft.
White was spotted driving erratically in a stolen SUV by state police in Vernon. White then led police on a chase through Willington, Mansfield, Coventry, and other towns, The Journal-Inquirer reported.
He was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, engaging police in a pursuit, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to drive in the proper lane, failure to obey control signal, failure to obey stop sign, reckless driving, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
