HARTFORD, CT — The City of Hartford last month announced that Hartford 311, its constituent services and non-emergency call center, will undergo significant upgrades.

The 311 service, designed to connect Hartford residents, businesses, and visitors to city services, will now align with Accela, the platform used by city departments, to allow for better data sharing and more timely updates between departments, city staff, and residents.

As part of these changes, Hartford is transitioning away from the Hartford 311 app, which had low usage, and towards the more mobile-friendly webpage.

With these new upgrades, image thumbnails will make it clear and easy for residents to identify the type of request they wish to submit, from illegal dumping to potholes to permit applications.

Residents will also be able to more easily submit requests on the website and follow along with the progress of their service requests.

All residents should submit requests for service through the 311 call center at 860-757-9311 or the website at www.hartfordct.gov/hartford311.
