Hartford's Top Cop Meeting With the Public All Month Long
Hartford PD Interim Chief Kenny Powell is starting an eight-stop tour of the city on Monday, Sept. 8.

HARTFORD, CT — The city's current leader of the police department is meeting with the public all month long, with several forums slated in various parts of Hartford.
Each event will give the public the chance to meet with Hartford Police Department Interim Chief Kenny Howell, who will be touring the city in September.
The eight-stop tour starts on Monday, Sept. 8, and continues on select dates through Thursday, Sept. 26.

All of his public forums will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. They will be on:
• Monday, Sept. 9, Hartford Public Library, 603 Park St.

• Tuesday, Sept. 10, West Indian Social Club, 3340 Main St.
• Monday, Sept. 16, Downtown Hartford's Pratt Street commercial center.
• Tuesday, Sept. 17, Urban Hope Refuge Church, 136 Westland St. (followed by a walk to Norris' Barbershop, 183 Barbour St.)
• Wednesday, Sept. 18, Parkville Market, 1400 Park St.
• Tuesday, Sept. 24, Hartford International University for Religion and Peace Community Room, 77 Sherman St.
• Wednesday, Sept. 25, The Community Room at the Village at Park River, 99 Park River Drive.
• Thursday, Sept. 26, Southend Senior Center, 830 Maple Ave.
