Huge Lotto Payout Won By Hartford Resident

HARTFORD, CT — One Hartford resident is smiling widely these days after a trip to the store, a lottery ticket purchase and a positive outcome led to a hefty payday.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Hartford resident Santos Goico won $86,188 playing the Cash 5 drawing on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Cash 5 is a daily numbers drawing that pays out $100,000 as a maximum prize.

Lottery officials said the winning ticket was purchase at the Hartford Xpressmart.
