Inmates Overdose At Hartford Prison

HARTFORD, CT — Four inmates overdosed on fentanyl at the Hartford Correctional Center.

The overdoses occurred Thursday night and Friday morning, according to the Hartford Courant. Three inmates were treated at an area hospital and returned to prison.

One inmate went into cardiac arrest and required CPR. There is no word on the inmate's condition.

Hartford Correctional Center primarily houses pre-trial defendants.
