A Lucky Friday The 13th For Lotto Winner In Hartford
The Bloomfield resident won a life-altering amount of cash playing a scratch-off ticket game purchased in Hartford.
HARTFORD/BLOOMFIELD, CT — Don't anybody tell a Bloomfield resident that Friday the 13th is unlucky.
That's because this individual walked into a Hartford Citgo gas station/convenience store, 215 Albany Ave., Friday and walked out $250,000 richer, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.
The lucky person won that amount playing the $250,000 Ca$hword 10 scratch-off game, lottery officials said.

Costing $20 to play, the game's maximum payout is $250,000 ... not too bad a payout on a day where black cats and ladders are to be avoided.
