Man Possessed 50 Wax Sleeves Of Fentanyl: Feds
A Hartford man has pleaded guilty to drug charges.
HARTFORD, CT — A city man pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and crack, according to federal prosecutors. Police found David Rodriguez, 25, in possession of 50 wax sleeves containing fentanyl and about two grams of crack cocaine on July 9, 2018.
Rodriguez faces a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years. He has been detained since his arrest and released pending sentencing.
This case is being investigated by the FBI’s Northern Connecticut Violent Crimes Gang Task Force and the Hartford Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by First Assistant U.S. Attorney Leonard C. Boyle and Assistant U.S. Attorney Lauren C. Clark.
