Man Struck, Killed By Garbage Truck In Hartford, Victim ID'd
A pedestrian was hit by a garbage and died due to his injuries Thursday morning.
HARTFORD, CT — A man was struck and killed by a garbage truck in Hartford on Thursday morning, WTNH News-8 reported. The crash occurred on Brainard Road shortly after 6 a.m.
Police arrived to find Frank Paul, 69, suffering from life-threatening injuries. Paul was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
The garbage truck driver remained at the scene of the crash and is cooperating with police, according to WTNH News-8.
