Maroon 5 Cancels Upcoming Hartford Show

The popular group had been scheduled to perform in the capital city Sept. 19.

HARTFORD, CT — Pop-rock band Maroon 5 has canceled a scheduled concert at the XL Center in Hartford.

The group had been slated to play downtown Hartford on Monday, Sept. 19, but canceled the show due to the impending birth of singer Adam Levine's baby, according to a statement on the group's Twitter page.

Maroon 5 is in the midst of a U.S. tour this fall. No other shows will be rescheduled.

For all ticket refunds, fans should return to their original point of purchase. Purchases made by phone or online will be returned automatically, the group announced on its web site, www.maroon5.com.
