Murphy Road Recycling To Handle Hartford Waste Disposal
Officials say the move could save the city up tp $500,000 per year.

HARTFORD, CT — Murphy Road Recycling has been awarded a contract to take over waste disposal for the city of Hartford next fiscal year, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The city expects to save $300,000 to $500,000 per year by making the move.
The contract will span five years. Harford's current contract with the Materials Innovation and Recycling Authority plant ends June 2022, The Hartford Business Journal reported.
