Noted Entrepreneur, Author To Speak At Hartford Event

HARTFORD, CT — The Legacy Foundation of Hartford will host entrepreneur and author Porter Braswell on Tuesday, May 7, at Infinity Music Hall in Hartford as part of its Black Excellence Speaker Series.

The Infinity Music Hall is at 32 Front St. and the event will be at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Braswell's expertise in diversity and inclusion and his leadership in empowering professionals of color make him a compelling speaker for the current moment, according to the foundation.

In addition to its new Black Excellence Speaker Series, The Legacy Foundation hosts a variety of special programs that serve youth in some of the most challenged areas of Hartford.

The foundation, according to its website, is "focused on addressing disparities in health and education with a specific emphasis on the most challenged demographic areas of Hartford."
