HARTFORD, CT — Parkville Market is planning a $6 million expansion and a new larger location of a brewery, according to The Hartford Courant.
The $5.1 million, 20,000-square-foot hall was nearly complete before the coronavirus pandemic hit and closed businesses across the state in March 2020. It now has 20 restaurant vendors and three bars.
Parkville Market attracts tens of thousands of visitors every month and broke $1 million in sales three months in a row last year.

Despite delays in the return of office employees to downtown Hartford, Carlos Mouta, the project's developer, sees a bright future, The Hartford Courant reported. Two of the four buildings will be expanded with plans for large and small venues along with a rooftop deck and a new home for Hog River Brewing Co.
The second phase of the market will be “The Hall at Parkville Market,” located in a 30,000-square-foot building next to the main market building.
