Person Killed After Car Crashes Into Hartford Building
The Friday morning crash killed one person. Police are investigating.
HARTFORD, CT — A person was killed after a car smashed into an apartment building near the Greenfield and Lennox streets intersection Friday morning.
The victim died after arriving at the hospital, according to Fox 61. The victim is Terrance Collins, 48, of Hartford and the accident occurred at 4:45 a.m. Friday, according to WTNH News 8.
Emergency responders freed the man from the car and he was taken to an area hospital where he later died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, News 8 reports. Collins first struck a parked car before crashing into the building, WFSB 3 TV reports.

No one else was injured and the apartment building was deemed structurally sound, WFSB 3 TV reports.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
