Police Investigate Near Death Of 2-Year-Old In Windham

WINDHAM, CT — Connecticut State Police said they are investigating the near death of a 2-year-old Wednesday morning, NBC Connecticut reported. The investigation is on Scott Road.

Police received the call at 12:30 a.m. and firefighters were dispatched to the Windham Heights apartment complex, after which the child was rushed to Windham Hospital for cardiac arrest, according to The Hartford Courant.

Police initially said the child had died but then said the child experienced brain damage, NBC reported.
