Bovee is a principal in the Hartford office of Jackson Lewis P.C. with more than 20 years of employment law experience.

She also holds a diversity and inclusion certificate from Cornell University and works with companies on strategic diversity, equity, and inclusion planning and implementation.

Bovee also serves as the current co-president of the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association.

“I believe everyone can help make a difference for children and set them up for success. I am excited to be part of that change,” said Bovee.

Luari is the founder and chief executive of The Statement Group, the restaurant group behind The Place 2 Be and Raw*.

After fleeing war-torn Albania as a child, she grew up working in her parents’ diner in Connecticut, which gave impetus to The Place 2 Be.

Under Luari’s leadership, The Statement Group — which currently operates five The Place 2 Be locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as Raw* in downtown Hartford — has plans to expand with more business concepts locally and nationally.

"I am deeply honored to accept a position on the Board of Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford. As a business owner and committed member of this community, I recognize the vital role organizations like the Boys and Girls Club play in shaping the futures of our youth. I am eager to leverage my experience and resources to support their mission and contribute to the positive development of Hartford's young people,” Luari said.

Hoffman is the sales director for the Hoffman Auto Group, representing the fourth generation of the family-owned business.

Before joining the Hoffman Auto Group, he held various roles in direct sales, sales operations and processes, business development, and account management at Audi Chandler and Prestige Imports.

“I’m excited to sustain the Hoffman connection to Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford and volunteer my service in an area that is of significant interest to me – causes related to children and social wellbeing,” Hoffman said.

In addition to confirming the appointment of Bovee, Luari, and Hoffman, the board of trustees also named Davis a "Life Trustee."

Davis, a Connecticut Superior Court Judge, has served the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford since 1992.
