Queer Comedian Returns to Hartford for Live Album Recording

Hartford’s own Caitlin Reese (she/they pronouns) daydreamed about being a stand-up since she was 5-years-old. Now she’s almost 40 and recording her first stand-up album at Sea Tea Comedy Theater, the community that changed the course of her life forever.

Caitlin came to Sea Tea Comedy Theater unfilled by their marriage, suburban residence, and career. The creative outlet and confidence of her community with Sea Tea helped her leave it all behind for a life reset. She can be seen on stages throughout the country speaking candidly about mental health, getting old, the gay agenda, and sharing humbling, awkward experiences she’s lived through. Her comedic style is smart and straight to the point without any filler. She lives in Queens, New York, and has a laundry list of credits such as being selected for Laughing Skull, Limestone & HBO Women in Comedy Festivals. She is a regular at New York Comedy Club and has a queer comedy podcast called Straight Guys.
