Serious Crash Cleared In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Traffic on Interstate 84 going into the greater Hartford area was slowed after a two-vehicle wreck in East Hartford late Tuesday morning, but the accident is now cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident was reported on I-84 East between exits 58 and 59.

This resulted in the two right lanes being closed, according to the DOT.

State officials said the accident was first reported at 10:43 a.m. and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
