Several Hartford Nonprofits Get State Grants

Several Hartford nonprofits got state grants to help with improvements.

HARTFORD, CT — A total of 12 Hartford nonprofits got state grants to help with their operations.

The state grants were part of about $30.8 million given out by the state to 92 nonprofits. The grants help with one-time infrastructure improvements.

"Connecticut’s nonprofit organizations serve every resident of Connecticut and play a substantial role in maintaining our safety net,” Governor Dannel Malloy said. “Partnering with them is a smart fiscal investment to ensure that they can continue to provide services while doing so in an efficient, cost-effective way."
