Suspected Hartford Serial Robber Arrested: PD
The suspect is accused of setting up meetings using Craiglist that turned into robberies, police said.

HARTFORD, CT — A total of eight suspects have been arrested after a series of robberies involving sites such as Offer Up and Craiglist in Hartford. The string of robberies occured from September 2017 to November 2017.
A 17-year-old was identified as the primary suspect and coordinator of robberies, police said. The suspects would arrange to meet to exchange merchandise and instead rob victims of money. Several thousand dollars in cash was stolen along with 15 cell phones, jewelry and identification. Three victims were shot and several others were pistol whipped.
The suspect was arrested Oct. 24. Seven other suspects were previously arrested and more arrests are anticipated. To sign up for free Greater Hartford news alerts and more, click here.

The 17-year-old was charged with four counts of first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery.
