Teen Loses Two Fingers Handling Homemade Explosive Device
The Hartford teen was handling the device which was about the size of a golf ball when it exploded.
HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford teen lost two fingers due to a homemade explosive device Sunday, according to police.
An initial investigation revealed that the juvenile didn't know what he was handling and wasn't involved in making the device, according to the Hartford Courant.
The explosive was about the size of a golf ball, according to NBC Connecticut.
