Threats Against Hartford Schools Under Investigation: Report
Threats have been made after a school nurse was placed on leave for allegedly revealing personal details about a student on social media.

HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating a series of threats made against the school district after a school nurse was put on leave for allegedly revealing personal details about Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning students in a Facebook group, according to NBC CT. The district said they have received hostile, vulgar, and threatening messages, emails, and phone calls.
A protest was held this weekend with parents of students and members of the proud boys talking about the nurse's suspension, according to NBC CT.
Previously, Superintendent Leslie Torres-Rodriguez sent a letter to the school community Monday regarding the school nurse's comments, stating "the values they express are totally inconsistent with what we stand for."
