HARTFORD, CT — The body count in Hartfofd continued to rise as a summer of violence continued Sunday, with three people killed in two separate shooting incidents in the city.

WFSB Channel 3 reports that at 1:51 a.m. Sunday, the Hartford police department was called to a Sterling Street residence and found two men suffering from multiple gunshots wounds.

Charged with murder in connection with that killing was Chan Williams-Bey, 27, who was already out on bail in connection with a 2021 murder, according to WTNH.

Sunday's three deaths in Hartford added to an already difficult summer for Hartford police, which are investigating several homicides in July that left seven dead, most of them at gunpoint.
