Three Major Hartford Concerts Prompt Police Warning
The Hartford Police Department is asking folks to be careful Saturday as three major musical events will take place at the same time.
HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police have issued another traffic warning this weekend as Saturday promises to be another festive day in the city.
Three high-profile musical events will be going on simultaneously and, as a result, the Hartford Police Department is warning motorists to leave some extra time when arriving and be wary of pedestrians and other vehicles.

• The Greater Hartford Jazz Festival at Bushnell park starts at 2:30 p.m. and will last through the night.
• The Capital City Music & Beer Festival will take place at Trinity Health Stadium at 6 p.m.

• A concert by Jason Aldean at the Xfinity Theater at 7 p.m.
"As a result of these events, heavier-than-usual vehicle and pedestrian traffic will occur throughout the downtown area," the HPD wrote.
"Traffic delays due to the number of people attending these events will likely occur. We ask that you please plan accordingly to arrive on time and enjoy an evening in the city."
