Two Charged With Robbing Man At Gunpoint

Two men have been arrested on accusations that they stole another man's phone at gunpoint at the University of Hartford campus.

HARTFORD, CT — Two men have been arrested on accusations that they stole another man's phone at gunpoint at the University of Hartford campus Wednesday afternoon, WTNH reported. The victim reportedly had agreed to sell an iPhone via the Letgo app and met the potential buyer.

However, the potential buyer then took out a gun and demanded the phone.

Robert Swan, 19, and Jermaine Cox, 25, were arrested and charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and weapon in a motor vehicle. Swan was also charged with carrying a dangerous weapon.

Both were held on $100,000 bond, WTNH reported.
