These funds will support United Way's mission to end poverty in the 860 region.
United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut received a $270,000 donation from Eversource Energy. This contribution is part of the $2.6 million donated by Eversource employees and the Eversource Foundation to United Way organizations across Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. This critical funding will support United Way’s mission to end poverty in the 860 region by closing gaps in child literacy, wages, housing and life expectancy.
