Four Hurt After Wild Chain-Reaction Crash In Hartford
Police said the accident started when a car changed lanes, struck another vehicle, then hit an SUV that rolled over several times.

HARTFORD, CT — A 19-year-old Windsor woman was cited by state police in connection with a massive, five-car chain-reaction crash on Interstate 91 in Hartford Sunday.
The woman, identified by state police as Iysis Armani Caraballo, 19, of Irving Street, Windsor, was cited with failure to keep in the proper lane after her lane change caused a multi-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon that sent multiple people to the hospital, police said.
The second vehicle Caraballo's car hit rolled over several times on the highway and collected two other vehicles, police said.

Police said the Camry then tried to merge into the right-center lane of I-91 south, but struck the rear of a 2021 Suburu Ascent being driven by 40-year-old Windsor woman.
Caraballo's Toyota Camry then spun back across the left-center lane, hitting the passenger-side, rear bumper of a 1998 Toyota 4-Runner being driven by a 63-year-old Hartford man, police said.
According to the accident report, the Toyota 4-Runner then flipped upon impact and rolled over "multiple times across all lanes of traffic."
Police said the flipping SUV struck two other vehicles before coming to a final stop in the right shoulder.
Vehicles hit by the 4-Runner were a 2017 Jeep Wrangler being driven by 33-year-old Shelton man and a 2022 Nissan Rogue being driven by a 24-year-old Hartford woman.
Police said two passengers in the initial collision in the 2021 Suburu Ascent were transported to Hartford Hospital "with suspected injuries."
