📰 News we're reading
• Hebron woman gets animal cruelty case dismissed after judge suppresses evidence (greenwichtime.com) — A Hebron resident had 72 animal cruelty charges dismissed after a judge ruled that evidence from a 2022 search of her Porter Road home was obtained in violation of her Fourth Amendment rights. The decision suppressed observations from an earlier visit tied to a juvenile court order, which the judge said was not a valid criminal search warrant, leaving prosecutors without usable evidence.
