MASHANTUCKET, CT — Foxwoods Resort Casino has a busy entertainment schedule planned for the rest of August, with concerts, comedy shows, pool parties and cultural events among the highlights.
Comedian Nikki Glaser will perform at the Premier Theater on Aug. 14 and 15, while Dogstar, the rock band featuring Bret Domrose, Robert Mailhouse and Keanu Reeves, will play the Great Cedar Showroom on Aug. 15.
The resort's WAVE Foxwoods Day Parties will also continue at The Fox Tower Pool. An Aug. 16 event will feature a 90s vs. 00s theme with DJ Vice, followed by events connected with For You Fest later in the month and a Candyland party Aug. 30.
For You Fest returns Aug. 20 and 21, bringing online creators and their communities together for entertainment and in-person events. The GenX Takeover Comedy Tour will headline both nights at the Great Cedar Showroom.
Singer and songwriter Josh Groban is also scheduled to perform at the Premier Theater on Aug. 20.
Cocktail Carnival will be held Aug. 22 at the Premier Ballroom and Fox Tower Lawn & Terrace, featuring tastings, carnival games and interactive experiences.
Foxwoods will close out the month with Schemitzun: Feast of Green Corn and Dance from Aug. 28-30. Hosted by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, the annual event celebrates Native culture and heritage through traditional and contemporary dance, live music, arts and crafts and other cultural experiences.
The Ultimate Doors, a Doors tribute act, will also perform at the Great Cedar Showroom on Aug. 29.
