LEDYARD, CT - The Ledyard Fair is in need of money in order to continue next season, as reported by The Day.
The fair is a town tradition that recently celebrated its 71st edition in September, The Day reported. Fair officials will need to come up with $25,000 by April to celebrate its 72nd edition next year.
Officials said a number of factors have been working against the annual celebration for the past few years, according to The Day. The fair still draws between 16,000 and 19,000 people each year.
