Ledyard Woman Charged for DUI While Driving With 4-Year Old in Car: Police

LEDYARD, CT- A woman faces charges after police said she drove drunk Thursday with her child, 4, in the car, as reported by the Norwich Bulletin.

Police said they received calls about Rachael Marsie, 30, driving erratically in her BMW, according to the Norwich Bulletin. She was pulled over and failed the field sobriety test, and was then placed under arrest.

Marsie was charged with risk of injury to a minor, as well as driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the Norwich Bulletin reported. She was later transported by Groton Ambulence to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for high intoxication levels.
