• State police conclude investigation into 3 skeletal remains found in Burlington home (nbcconnecticut.com) — State police are set to outline their findings in Litchfield about three skeletal remains discovered in a Burlington home earlier this year, a case that has drawn statewide attention. Investigators say there are no signs of foul play, but causes of death for the three family members remain undetermined, with possibilities including malnutrition or hypothermia.
• CT police investigating incident of multiple cars hit as driver allegedly fled and crashed (courant.com) — Litchfield-based state troopers and Litchfield EMS were involved after an erratic driver fleeing Plymouth police allegedly struck multiple vehicles, then crashed into a Subaru on Route 118 in Harwinton, injuring a Bristol man and a 4-year-old boy. The New Jersey driver and a Plymouth officer also suffered minor injuries, and both state and local police continue to investigate before announcing any charges.
