10th Annual Souper Bowl This Weekend In Madison

MADISON, CT — The Souper Bowl, the popular culinary event in its 10th edition, is scheduled for noon to 2:30 p.m. in downtown Madison, organizers announced.

Hosted by the Madison Chamber of Commerce, residents and visitors are urged to show up hungry.

"Downtown Madison will be serving up the Shoreline’s best chili, soups, and chowders - crafted by local chefs, fire departments, EMS teams, and cooking enthusiasts," organizers said in a statement. "Taste, vote and enjoy a flavor-packed afternoon!"

Added Madison First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons, "Now in its 10th year, this flavorful favorite offers something for everyone: delicious tastings, friendly competition, and the chance to vote for your favorites while judges select their top picks. It’s a feel-good way to eat well, give back, and celebrate winter together."
