Hot Yoga On The Shoreline!

Some like it hot! But if you wanted to do Hot Yoga before you had to go all the way to New Haven. But no more! Starting March 1st you will be able to take Hot Power Vinyasa at Shoreline Yoga in Clinton (the house right next to the Shoreline Health & Fitness Gym). The yoga instructor is Petra Axlund Stegman, the owner of Inner Strength Yoga in Madison.

“Hot Power Vinyasa is a vigorous yoga class and it is held in a room that is heated to 88-95 degrees” Petra Axlund Stegman says.

You will sweat out toxins and detoxify your body. And the heat makes it possible for you to in a safe way get deeper in to the poses. The class combines flowing in a fast paste to get the heart rate going with holding the poses to build up strength and mental focus. And Petra Axlund Stegman pays a lot of attention to proper alignments and she gives hands on adjustments.

“Even thou the class is very physical the focus is always on the breath and quieting the mind. But yoga experience or a good fitness level is recommended” says Petra Axlund Stegman.
