Annual Vista Tour de Shore Cycling Event Takes Off Oct. 16

Cycling event and fundraiser offers something for cyclists of all levels

Registration is open for the 8th Annual Vista Tour de Shore cycling event and fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 16.

With 5, 25, 40 and 60-mile routes along the Connecticut shoreline, the Tour de Shore is open to cyclists of all levels, from seasoned veterans to those new to the sport. All routes start and end at the Westbrook Elks Lodge and travel along scenic byways, offering participants beautiful views of the shoreline during peak fall foliage.

The Tour de Shore is an important fundraiser for Vista Life Innovations, a nationally accredited post-secondary program for individuals with disabilities. Fund raised at the Tour de Shore benefit the Vista Endowment Fund, a supporting organization that helps to ensure a vibrant and financially secure Vista exists well into the future.

A post-ride party featuring food, raffle prizes and entertainment will be held at the Westbrook Elks Lodge, 142 Seaside Ave.
