Architects: Complete New School Project Survey, See Presentations

In a continuing effort to get community input, new school project architect Tecton held public workshops, and created a community survey.

MADISON, CT — Beginning in September, the architectural firm designing the new Pre-K to 5 school on Mungertown Road held community workshops to gather input from residents. Tecton Architects, which banked on continued community engagement, also created a survey so more of the community can weigh in, and share their thoughts, on the design and construction of the new building.

In the fall of 2021, the Board of Selectmen approved the purchase of the site known as the Jansen property for $1.3 million. The 14.2-acre site would be home to the proposed new Jeffrey School, part of the Madison Schools Renewal Plan, which was designed to address "aging school buildings."
