Madison Beach and Recreation is offering The Art of Song Featuring Belle of the Fall. This songwriting workshop is being offered in conjunction with Aim for a Better Tomorrow. It is for ages 5 to 105 where participants will be broken into appropriate age groupings. This program focuses on using songwriting as a means to bring people together though music. It focuses on creativity and teamwork in a group setting. No musical knowledge or experience is required. Participants will practice writing using 1st and 3rd person lyrics over a variety of song forms. We will set these lyrics to music as a group. Songwriting is a great way to open up an individual's sense of creativity and self-expression. Check out Belle of the Fall on their website at www.belleofthefall.com.
